Game, set and match

I went to Wimbledon on Thursday and had a nice day out despite badly suffering with my hayfever. As it was a warm day I wore my floaty scarf print dress from River Island

This isn't the best picture but I think my camera may be on the way out as the quality of my pictures seems to be getting worse! Can anyone recommend any good cameras that are small enough to carry around in a clutch bag?

Short Story

I visited my grandparents in Westgate on sea, Kent this weekend so I went for a casual look

My shorts were £15 from H&M, My vest is from Warehouse and my sandals were around £15 from boohoo.com.
For some reason my pictures keep coming out a bit pixelated so I can't make them too large. I'm not sure if my camera is losing the will to live as this never used to happen before

I aint going out like no punk b*tch

I finally had a night out last night for the first time in what felt like ages. So glad I'm booked up for the next couple of weekends as it means I get to wear nice outfits rather than PJs on a Friday night!

I teamed my New Look neon jeans with a gorgeous peplum top from Primark which looks much more expensive than £8

Twinkle Toes

Like a magpie, I'm drawn to anything that sparkles so when I saw these shimmery shoes in Next I had to snap them up! At £25 they're a bit of a snip and they'll go with so many of my outfits.

In other news, I've been ploughing away at work and trying to get over yet another virus. I just feel like I'm constantly run down and have no immune system. My glands are also swollen more often than not but I did have glandular fever a year ago which I've heard stays in your system for a long time. :(

Totally TOWIB

Yesterday I attended the 4th TOWIB event having only just found out about it. (better late than never eh?)
I arrived on my own just as Dr Linda started her speech so I had to stand alone like a lemon until she had finished. She raised some interesting points and sparked debate amongst some of my fellow bloggers. After the speech I managed to find Eloise who I met at the LDN lunch in March and I met Lauren, Stacie, Steph, Katy, Annabel, Beckie, Shelley, Sian and some other lovely ladies on the day.

The event was a great opportunity to meet some fellow bloggers and chat about fashion, beauty and the blogs we enjoy reading. I'm looking forward to meeting up with all the girls again soon

This is what I decided to wear. Unfortunately, the outfit does emphasis how short I am but it was comfortable and I love the print on the Zara jeans (£30) The top, blazer and necklace are all from H&M and  my shoes were bought years ago from George at Asda

Here are the girls after enjoying a very posh lunch of Mc Donalds!

The Only Way is Blogging

I do enjoy meeting new people, especially if they share my obsession with fashion & beauty and my love of blogging. That's why when I found out about the latest TOWIB blogging event I snapped up a ticket quickly! I hope to see most of you there. If you haven't got your ticket yet visit the website to find out how to purchase one

Jubilations

I haven't really done much to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee but today I went out for drinks with my family, my boyfriend and his cousin so I decided to go for a British theme of red, white and blue. The blazer is £30 from H&M, the metallic top was about £23 from Lavish Alice and the trousers were bought in Primark last year for about £9. As you can see from one foot poking out, my lemon New Look wedges (£20) also wanted to get a look in, well one of them anyway!

I also tried to take a picture of the detail on the back of my jacket which is almost like a peplum

I also tried out my Union Jack nail wraps from asda (£4) I can never get them to look perfect and they often overlap my nails but I was pleased with the result

Summer knits

Summer knits

Summer knits by chelseyprentice featuring a crochet sweater

The weather seems to have taken a turn for the worse as the cold and rain is beginning to set in. This is where cosy but fashionable summer knits come in. There is a wide choice available on the high street but Topshop have nailed the trend best. Pull on a summer knit over your outfit and you're ready to face the day
