For me, checks have become a winter wardrobe staple and as our weather has been more autumnal than summery lately I thought I'd get in on the act early. Hounds tooth in monochrome is one of my favourite checks and it's always smart and timeless. This 60's style shift dress was a Primark bargain from last Autumn but I'm sure that the high street will be awash with similar styles over the next few months
It's also smart enough for work which is perfect seeing as it's where I spend most of my time!
